Ante la percepción dominante de una sociedad constituida en torno a las estadísticas, los índices económicos y las crisis institucionales, económicas y sociales permanentes; Radical Democracy como proyecto abre un hueco a nuevas formas de entender y percibir Europa desde prácticas ciudadanas colectivas, desde las historias personales, desde los lugares tradicionalmente desplazados por los medios de comunicación.

Radical Democracy es una convocatoria de vídeo que centra el foco en cómo las construcciones del individuo en colectivo producen nuevas perspectivas críticas, nuevas visiones más luminosas de Europa, espacios para una vida más digna y saludable. En el espacio del festival se podrán ver tanto los vídeos producidos por las organizaciones como los que han sido enviados a la convocatoria.

Nazlı moved to Czech Republic from Turkey in 2005 to study film/animation, met Tomáš there and they have been together since. ’To You’ is their audiovisual letter to their unborn child, posing important questions about the future of their child in connection with the future of Europe: Will European society be more open or more closed; will their child feel at home? In essence they ask the viewers: What do you want Europe to be like in the future?
